Casey came to know Christ at the age of 15; she then committed her life to seeking God and His will for her life. In August of 2008, after graduating Lewiston High School and completing a year of college, Casey moved to East Texas to participate in a ministry internship focused on discipleship and full time ministry. During this time Casey became even more passionate about devoting her life to full time ministry, specifically wanting to be involved in missions and mentoring young women. The two years that Casey spent in East Texas solidified her walk with Christ and revealed to her more of God's will for her life. In August 2010 Casey moved to Boise, Idaho and became activiely involed in ministries on the BSU campus, which is where she met her husband Phillip Grant, in January of 2011. Phillip is the campus minister at BSU for the Baptist Campus Ministry, and is orginally from Lubbock, Texas.
Casey began working for Central Valley in December of 2011. Aside from her desire to be a wife and mother, being a church secretary is her dream job. When Casey isn't working at Central Valley or for Baptist Campus Ministry, she loves spending time outside reading or playing softball, drinking coffee, writing, cooking and taking walks.
One of Casey's life verses: Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight". In all things Casey has chosen to trust God's ways are better than her own, even when she can't see any "good" in a situaton. God has always proven Himself faithful!
